More Chocolate Sauce: A Tahini Twist

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons water (preferably hot)
  • 1 tablespoon tahini

Optional:

  • Nuts for added texture

Instructions:

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, cocoa powder, water (preferably hot), and tahini until smooth. Adjust the water to achieve your desired consistency.
  2. Add Nuts (Optional): If desired, stir in some nuts for extra crunch and texture.
  3. Serve: Use as a dip for fruit like bananas or strawberries, drizzle over desserts, or enjoy however you like!

Note: I also tried adding matcha, but tahini really makes this version stand out with its creamy richness!

Enjoy your new and improved chocolate sauce with a tahini twist!

  1. This tahini chocolate sauce sounds delicious and aligns very well with Paleo principles! Maple syrup for natural sweetness, unsweetened cocoa for richness, and tahini for creamy texture make it both satisfying and guilt-free. Love the addition of nuts for extra crunch, too—such a smart way to add texture while keeping everything Paleo-friendly. Thanks for sharing this!

Are there any other flavor variations you’d recommend for this recipe that would also fit into a Paleo diet?

    • Thank you so much! I’m glad you like the tahini chocolate sauce idea! For other flavor variations, you could try adding a splash of vanilla extract (just be sure to check the nutrition label for any added sugars or non-Paleo ingredients) or a pinch of cinnamon for a warm, spicy kick. If you want it extra creamy, a dash of any Paleo-friendly milk, like almond or coconut milk, could be a great addition. You can also experiment with different nuts or even unsweetened dried cranberries for a fun twist. I hope these ideas help, and let me know if you try any of them!
