Foil-Wrapped Potatoes

A simple Paleo potato recipe cooked in foil for easy, hands-off baking.

Ingredients

  • Sweet potatoes or white potatoes (any size)
  • Oil of choice
  • Sprinkles of salt (pink Himalayan preferred)

Optional

  • Cinnamon (for sweet potatoes)
  • Pure maple syrup (for sweet potatoes only)

Instructions

  1. Preheat: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash: Wash and scrub the potatoes. Pat dry.
  3. Season: Lightly coat each potato with oil and sprinkle with salt. Add cinnamon if using (sweet potatoes only).
  4. Wrap: Wrap each potato in its own piece of foil.
  5. Bake: Place on a baking sheet and bake for 45–60 minutes, depending on size, until tender when pierced with a fork.
  6. Serve: Carefully unwrap and serve warm. Drizzle with pure maple syrup if desired (sweet potatoes only).
